Print and cut up Film taboo either one sheet for the whole class or enough to share between small groups.
How to play
One student takes a card without letting anyone else see what’s written on it. They describe the film (the underlined word) but must not use any of the other words in the card or any words contained in the film’s name. The first person in their group to guess gets to keep the card/score a point.
Students make their own cards, choosing a film and the taboo words. The film titles can be in their own language if they want as long as the activity proceeds in English.
